Henry (Alister’s grandfather) & Nellie Carr (1922)
In 1878, German migrants Elizabeth and Friederich Oberin (Alister’s great, great, grandparents) left the Victorian goldfields to begin farming along the banks of the Bendigo Creek. Karee, now a sixth generation family farm, continues an intergenerational tradition of wool growing.
